In business since 1963, Grubb Properties today is 100% employee- and board-owned. We create, develop, operate, and manage properties primarily within the Southeast U.S., including commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use projects.
Our goal is to build the most accessible new multifamily communities in urban areas through our Link Apartments® brand. Our long-term resident program caps rent increases for residents who live with us at least five years.
Our new development pursues certifications such as LEED, NGBS, and ENERGY STAR. We measure build energy, water, waste, and emissions within our control, and are identifying long-term reduction targets. We participate in the Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps fellowship program.
We are the first private developer in North America to enlist Copenhagenize to design innovative bicycle- and pedestrian-focused infrastructure at our communities. We work to find the ideal parking ratio using shared parking, and to design communities that encourage alternative transportation options.
